At BNP Paribas, Theresa took on the challenge of revamping the product knowledge management system to improve cost-effectiveness and knowledge retention. To achieve this, she selected a range of courses based on the product portfolio, urgency for knowledge retention, and motivation and support of subject matter experts.

The main objective was to secure quick wins in the early stages to build momentum. The courses were then developed using alternative methods to improve the retention of knowledge, which would lead to better cost-effectiveness for the bank.

Theresa focused on developing courses that were engaging and interactive, making use of the latest e-learning technologies to enhance the learning experience. The courses were designed to be accessible from any location, which made it easy for staff to access the training at their own convenience.

By using a blended learning approach that combined e-learning with classroom-based training, the courses provided staff with a flexible and engaging learning experience. The training content was tailored to the specific needs of each department, and subject matter experts were involved in the development process to ensure that the content was accurate and relevant.

The revamped product knowledge management system was a success, leading to improved cost-effectiveness and better knowledge retention among staff. The bank was able to roll out the courses to all its offices worldwide, which resulted in a more skilled and knowledgeable workforce. Theresa’s work at BNP Paribas is a testament to her expertise in developing effective training programs that meet the needs of the organization and its staff.
